Position: Technical Lead
Job Description:
As a technical lead you will be responsible for:-
Planning & Tracking:-
Effort Estimations
Support to EM's in breaking down deliverables into activities and subactivities and allocation of tasks to the developers
Risk Management -Support to EM in managing Technology Risk
Client coordination on technical and low level functionality issues
Monitoring performance of the developers.
Analysis and Design:-
Owns Functional & non–functional specifications of the project.
Recommends appropriate architecture based on client's business problem and drivers
Explains the tradeoffs involved in designing a solution to the client and the team
Evaluate technologies, Physical and Logical architecture and Conduct proof of concept tests for key pieces of the architecture
High Level and Detail Design of the application/Product
Review of Unit and Integration Test cases
Development:-
Provide technical support to the development team on-Resolving their technical issues (Providing support to the development team if they are stuck in the code).
Mentoring development teams on best coding practices, Processes and on technology updates. Supporting development team on Code Optimization.
Conduct Code Reviews - Ensure reviews are conducted for code at regular intervals
QA support: Proving support to QA in creating test environment
Creating Deployment environment and Release management
Configuration management
Delivery:-
Client communication on technical issues
Bug analysis/impact analysis
Supports EM in preparing the Release Notes
Candidate Profile:
As a technical Lead you should have 5+years of experience and should be strong in:-
Designing and Design patterns.
Should be strong in ASP.NET, C#, Sql Server, ADO.NET and .Net framework.
Should have exposure on Webservices/Remoting.
Should have hands on experience with Databases.
Exposure to NHibernate and NAnt will be an added advantage.
Should have prior team leading experience.
Should have good communication and analytical skills.
