Title: Senior SAP BW/BI Architect with strong industry knowledge in data management tools and technology

Duration: 6 Months+

Initial duration is 6 months, but if the candidates is doing well they will continue to be extended indefinitely

Our reputed direct clients in the Georgia area is looking for 2 good Senior SAP BW/BI Architect with strong industry knowledge in data management tools and technology. 6+ years of hands on BW/BI development experience, At least 3 full life cycle implementation experience

• Six years contiguous professional experience primarily in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing

• One year in a leadership role, as a BW architect or technical team lead in BW implementation projects.

• Has been a part of at least 3 SAP deployments including my SAP ERP 2005 Broad Functional knowledge with deep expertise in 2 or more areas Access to and connected in a SAP network of knowledge in the consultant's company Actual implementation experience (design, config, and development of BEX and Web Analyzer reports) in SAP BI 7.0 Expert in SAP/BI Portal including single sign-on, user mgmt, BI content mgmt, and non-SAP web reporting integration Expert in using BI data acquisition techniques including UD Connect, Open Hub, etc.

• Practical knowledge of the SAP BI UOM conversion capabilities Experience / knowledge of best practices for maintaining a global, multi-ERP, BW environment Experience using the Knowledge Mgmt component of NetWeaver

• Four years as a developer in SAP BW implementations with progressively greater responsibilities.

• At least three complete lifecycle implementation or upgrade to SAP BI for Netweaver 2004S .

• Two years in a high-volume SAP BW environment performing hands-on performance tuning. including indexes, aggregates, statistics, compression, code review, query design, etc. desired.

• Extensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts, strategies, and solutions.

• Expertise with BW performance optimization.

• Ability to research, learn and master new business intelligence technologies and products

• Strong analytical skills focused on creating optimal solutions

• Ability to work in cross functional work teams and build consensus; effective collaboration skills

• Ability to communicate effectively across many different levels of technical and business acumen

• Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities

• Ability to learn business rules governing multiple businesses and systems

• Ability to deal with high-volume, rapid development cycles, many concurrent deadlines and changing priorities

• Advising functional analysts, technical developers, and customers regarding best practices and appropriate approaches to meeting BI requirements

• Strategic planning for corporate information management / business intelligence initiatives and services

• Articulating the strategic plan to executive and program managers and obtaining and maintaining alignment and support

• Working with personnel from all levels of the business to define corporate information management / business intelligence requirements

• Architecting the BI environment to provide effective and efficient business intelligence, including operational, analytic and executive reporting

• Collaborating with and providing guidance and support to the Solution Delivery team regarding the design and development of BI solutions

• Data warehousing, dimensional data modeling and database design

• Web application administration and development to include web services

• SAP ERP knowledge specifically in Materials Management, Supply Chain or Sales and Distribution

• Extensive experience with development in SAP BW including custom extractors, ODS, cubes, multiproviders, APDs, infosets, infospokes, process chains, etc.

• Skilled with ABAP coding, debugging, analysis, and performance tuning.

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to design solutions to meet business requirements that leverage the existing architectural framework.

• Strong industry knowledge in data management tools and technology, including data replication, extraction, and access tools environment.

• Hands-on database administration experience.

• Work with various components and add-on of SAP Solutions

• Excellent interpersonal skills needed to work with various levels of technical and managerial staff members.
