KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Design, review & recommend architecture strategy & roadmap for Service Application nodes (for next 3 years) for existing & new services. Align with roadmap from Commercial and Technology Strategy, considering market trends & best practices.
· Lead to ensure timely implementation of service architecture according to agreed roadmap, for existing & new services.
· Provide technical recommendations & ideas for new PFT concepts & services, with own analysis & minimal input from node owners & Technology Strategy, without leaving out major areas & causing delays in project implementation.
· Work with node owners to plan & implement projects to improve service quality (ie. availability, performance, usability, flexibility, security, scalable, future-proof, protecting past investment) or customer experience. Considers benefits, limitations, options, best practises, industry development & business trends.
· Lead and transfer IT architecture best practises to Service Applications team.
· Involvement in other projects & tasks as required from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Minimal 5 years working experience at the enterprise level involving application software development, design, and technical solution design.
· Experienced in Java, open source & Microsoft technologies (application servers & databases).
· Exposure to web services, service oriented architecture and other new technologies.
· Technical skill on application performance tuning, Unix scripting.
· Knowledge & experience in the implementation of telecommunication platform & application systems.
· Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.
