Title: SAP GRC IT General Controls Specialists with expertise across SAP GRC and Security

Initial duration is 5 months, but if the candidates is doing well they will continue to be extended indefinitely

Our reputed direct client is currently seeking SAP GRC IT General Controls Specialists with expertise across SAP GRC and Security. The position requires a minimum of three year's experience within operating systems, security and SAP GRC application suites.

Consultant must have strong communication skills and organizational skills. Must be able to perform business process analysis, blueprinting, security design, segregation of duties analysis, and work across other teams.

This specialist is required to assume senior responsibility for the design, technology adoption and standards associated with the GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) area within the SAP footprint.

Prior experience configuring basis, security and SAP GRC with a proven track record adapting a system to meet the needs of an enterprise. Experience in configuring and/or supporting the implementation of operating system and/or security controls within an SAP environment. Strong understanding of the risk control processes including ITGC risks, controls, testing plans, testing execution in an integration testing environment and control remediation. Knowledge of SAP and GRC including SoD rule sets and ERP sensitive transactions. Understanding and experience in controls points for databases and operating systems. Understanding and/or experience in controls points for data master data conversions and interfaces. Strong knowledge of SAP and the ERP Business Process Methodology. Self motivated with the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Strong analytical and communication skills including the ability to trouble shoot and work through problems with clients

Taking on this important role, you will assume responsibilities such as:

Working with various groups to ensure the SAP solution is designed with end-to-end integration in mind
Working with the SAP Principal Technical Architect, Enterprise Architect and NetWeaver GRC teams to ensure that solutions are aligned to the organisation's strategic direction
Working with the SAP Services Support Team to ensure that the organisation's SAP solution is appropriately architected
Develop and review estimations for support, minor works and projects relating to your area of specialisation
Being responsible for the mentoring and development of staff in your team, in support of your manager

The successful candidate will possess the following:

8+ years experience working in large complex IT environments, comprising 6+ years SAP project implementation, 4+ years experience in the design and build of SAP Application Security across multiple SAP applications
Experience in developing solution estimations
Proven success in working with and across Business and IT Delivery teams to provide effective and cost efficient technology based solutions
Experience in complex technology based projects that essentially reshape an organisation's existing business processes and technology landscape
At least 1 year experience in General Controls
At least 1 year experience in Internal Controls
At least 2 years experience in SOX
At least 3 years experience in GRC
