Position: Proposal Writer /Bid Response Writer/Contracts Writer and Editor/Research Analyst
Job Description:
• Analyzes RFPs and develops outlines and compliance matrices.
• Develops and executes proposal schedules
• Writes or edits corporate information, resumes and project descriptions.
• Proofreads and edits material submitted by authors to ensure a quality document is being submitted to the customer.
• Coordinates input from internal office colleagues.
• Coordinates internal proposal reviews with upper management.
• Doing research and finding out new RFP’s
• Mapping solution to Identifying and addressing client requirements.
• Content management (content review, new content creation, etc.)
• Supports sales colleagues in bid response/contract writing/editing in a collaborative manner to secure business.
Skills:
• Position requires an acute attention to detail, impeccable proofreading and editing skills, and eye for professional presentation of information.
• Fully capable of working independently and self-drive to accomplish rigorous goals.
• Fluent English communication skills required. Both written and oral English communication skills. Additional language a plus.
• Must possess demonstrated ability to work under and enforce tight deadlines.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and effectively and to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have excellent organizational skills, writing skills, and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to interact skillfully and diplomatically with numerous counterparts, including cross company teams.
• Persistent work ethic and able to qualify and close deals.
• Knowledge of Information Technology skills are a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced deadline oriented environment as well as be capable of redefining workflow.
• Flexibility, as the nature of RFPs is deadline oriented. Candidate must be able to stay past "normal" working hours if and as necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and desktop publishing experience. Power Point and graphics experience will be a plus.
• Extremely detail oriented and Strong analytical thinker.
Experience:
• College degree
• 2 or more years of applicable experience will be a plus.
