Position: Head of Service Applications
Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITY:
¨ All deliveries that goes into team’s project pipeline MUST be delivered based on the agreed and approved criteria
¨ Manage and assure that there are no loss of income or downtime due to capacity, performance or negligence
¨ Manage and assure that all agreed and approved services KPI are met at all times
¨ Manage and assure the Technical service value chain are updated, aligned and analyzed for risks and provide options for mitigations
¨ Project Owner and delivering projects related and will be sitting on Steering Committees of projects to ensure overall direction and guidance to project team, endorse readiness and approve project deviations for timeline, scope, cost / commercial and resources, ensuring alignment with business dynamics
¨ Assure that project pipeline is managed with efficiency based on the agreed and approved criteria and target
¨ Lead and manage the target settings within the team and support the department’s target settings initiatives
¨ Budget controller for Service Applications team
¨ Manage and plan for the team’s development
¨ Manage the knowledge and skills of the team to assure competency is adequate to maintain the team’s deliverables
¨ Manage all the deliverables of the team and support all deliverables of Service Planning Department
¨ Manage the team to ensure motivation and morale is at the optimum
¨ Manage the team’s resources which includes any agreed CAPEX, OPEX and human resources based on the agreed and approved targets
¨ Service architecture document and roadmap for all service value chain, systems and applications within the team’s portfolio MUST updated and reviewed every 6 months and aligned with Commercial and Technology Strategy Roadmap
¨ Assure accuracy and timeliness of all reporting deliverables
¨ Support, deploy and implement all Telenor, Client and Technology initiatives and participate in all required sessions that are assigned
¨ Lead and manage based on client’s values and code of conduct
Candidate Profile: ¨ Lead and manage a team of specialist with architect and consultants who are within the Service Applications Team.
¨ The team is responsible for:
¨ Delivering all projects that goes through the team’s project pipeline and portfolio with the agreed and approved criteria
¨ Architecture design and ownership of all systems, service value chain and applications under its portfolio
¨ Leading technical discussions on projects within and related to the portfolio
¨ Capacity management of all services, systems, applications within the portfolio
¨ Business and technical risk analysis and management related to the portfolio
