My name is Pratick Sarkar.Iam going to share my first interview experience which I gave in WIPRO and the interesting thing is that,though I never thought that I would be selected,today I am working in WIPRO itself for the last 10 months.
It was quiet interesting to give the interview in a multinational company like this,though during the interview I was getting bored.There was a seminar for 3 hours in which we were given infoes regarding the company.Then there was 4 rounds of interview which was quiet horrible in my view as after every round I was wishing to go out but was getting selected every time.Around 200 candidates of our college gave the interview.By the end of the first round which was passage reading around 50 candidates were left back.By the end of second round which was one-to-one interview 33 more were sorted out.In that round we were asked questions like-Say something about your school life? What kind of books do you like to read? All sorts of questions like that.But to me the most unwanted question was asked--What would you prefer a live together or an arranged marriage? I was not at all ready for that kind of question and how I tackeled with that question I by itself a very surprising thing.The next two rounds were interview over the phone and a written test, at the end of which only 7 candidates were selected finally among which I was one as well.The inerview was not bad in the view point of experience as well as regarding the selection in such a big company.Finally I am working in WIPRO BPO and I am proud to be a WIPROITE at the end.
